How does it work?

It all starts with a conversation.  When you contact us we'll ask you a host of questions about the person who's need of companionship.  Together we'll assess their needs and whether Just Company can provide the required support. 

If everyone feels it's a great fit, the next stage is organising a meeting. At this meeting, we will really get into likes, dislikes, aspirations, mobility and other considerations. We'll share examples of other client’s outings and experiences to show just what the possibilities can be!  

From there, we can create a suggested programme of outings and activities that will be appropriate for the client’s needs and enjoyment.  And in the meantime, we'll go into action finding the perfect companion.  

Once we have found the right person, you will be introduced to your trusted, safe and exclusive companion, who will be with the client going forward.

• A companion is a friend who is dependable, trustworthy and has shared interests.
• All our companions are enhanced DBS checked and insured.
• They have been chosen for their ability to engage with clients and enable them to truly enjoy all their favourite things from a simple cup of tea in a favourite cafe, a shopping trip or a walk in the countryside.
• They work on a one-to-one basis and rarely have more than one or two clients.
• Our companions strive to achieve the highest standard and will plan, organise and accompany you on outings that suit you.
